What fitness experience do I need?

This program is fully customizable based on your fitness level. Modifications are provided for each exercise.

It’s also a perfect supplemental training program if you’re a runner looking for a few days of cross training as it will get you moving in all the planes of motion and give your joints a break.

If you’re a new mom looking to rebuild your core, this program will get you using your abs again in ways you never thought possible!

If you’re tired of walking to the gym and wandering around from machine to machine without a real plan, this plan will put a personal trainer in your pocket! Your workouts will be focused, purposeful, and rewarding.

If you’re an at-home workout warrior, this program is SMART and it’s progressive. Each workout builds on the last and there are no two workouts that are the same.

If you’re tired of the same old workout routine, this is a way to mix-up your exercise, stay healthy, and never get bored!

What equipment do I need?

You’ll need the following equipment:

  • TRX
  • Heavy and light set of dumbbells. I recommend 12-25 lbs. and 8-12 lbs.
  • Slam ball (medicine ball filled with sand) 10-20 lbs.
  • Mini exercise bands – heavy

Optional:

  • Kettlebell 25-35 lbs. (12-16 kg)
  • Strength bands – Extra light or light, X-Mount for hanging TRX

Why TRX training?
We use the TRX in this program because we use core all the time with this amazing piece of equipment! It’s an amazing tool to train balance, improve stability in your hips and shoulders and it will help you build power too.

Unlike using a machine in the gym, the TRX allows you to move through endless ranges of motion and work at various angles to increase or decrease intensity.

Let’s face it, we sit way too much. With the TRX you’re standing or working on suspended training.

With the exercises, you must use your entire body, especially your core. A strong core = greater overall strength.

I've never used a TRX. Is this program for me?

Yes! We have TRX newbies in our community and accountability group ready to cheer you on.

The TRX is easy on your joints. You’ll be able to use your entire body weight to build strength in ways you never thought possible!

With easy to follow videos for every exercise, including modifications, you’ll have the tools you need to learn a new exercise routine.

Plus, you’ll get access to TRX setup videos so you can customize your workout plans to your level.

How much does it cost?

Online personal training costs $30 a month. There is no contract.

The first month is charged when you’re ready to commit and grab a limited spot.

Then, you’ll be charged automatically on the 28th of the month UNLESS you give Emily Ackart 48 hours notice of cancellation.

  • 3 workouts per week via the TrueCoach app
  • Videos showing you how to do each exercise
  • Written instructions for each exercise
  • Modifications for exercises
  • Ability to message your trainer with questions
  • Access to an online accountability group for motivation, inspiration, helpful tips, basic nutrition help, meal ideas, and support from other members of the Emily Ackart Fitness Community
What kind of workouts will I receive each week?

You’ll get 3 workouts per week that include HIIT training, strength training, and a workout to build and rebuild your core while increasing mobility.

Workouts are not repeated, so you’ll always have a fresh workout so you can stay motivated!

Progression and modifications are shown for each exercise.

You can also always ask questions through our private Facebook group or the message button on the app itself.

The workouts will take 25-35 minutes to complete.

Who is the trainer?

Your personal trainer is Emily Ackart. She’s a mom, fitness enthusiast, mountain biker, certified personal trainer and qualified TRX trainer.

She’s also working on a nutrition certification.
